A Note From the Orchard Manager

If you ask me at any given moment, I can tell you the exact amount of apples we have on each of our 10,000 trees.

All joking aside, as the orchard manager, there are a number of factors that we take into consideration when caring for our fruit. The health of a tree is an integral and essential part of having a high yield and delicious apples to incorporate into our ciders. I strap on my boots and walk our orchards daily, assessing each apple and each tree. From planting to pruning, pest management to weed control, and soil fertility, there is a lot of behind the scenes care for a single apple.

Once the apples are ready to be harvested, my team and I hand-pick each piece of fruit and get them ready for our production team, who take great care to produce a cider product that is the best representation of that apple variety. So, when you sip on a pint of any of our hard or fresh ciders, I invite you to imagine the fruit, the orchards, and the team who work tirelessly to create our one-of-a-kind, farm to glass ciders.
